Welcome to the online portfolio of Visual Effects Artist, Rob Frankel. First off, thank you for checking me out! I'm flattered. Secondly, this site is a work in progress, so there's going to be a few rough spots here and there. I don't apologize for any of it. I do apologize for not really having all that much to show you kids, but this is something I'm trying to fix in my spare time, so bare with me. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll even update my resume and make it available for all of cyber space to read.
I'm currently working full-time at QVC in West Chester, PA. My duties at the moment are a nice mix of designing, animating, programming and even database management. Over the years, I've developed an understanding of and great appreciation for programming in the animation world. I think that's what sets me apart the most from other animators that shy away from the coding side of our job.
As grateful as I am for having a steady job, I still love getting to do the few freelance gigs here and there. They always seem to provide a welcome change of pace from the hectic world of home shopping. So feel free to hit me up if you have something to take my mind off of electric candles and sequin sweaters. But only if it's fun. So help me god, if it's not fun...
